Customer Reviews (4.3 / 5 · 3 reviews)

Nicholas H. ★★★★★

The gothic pixel art in this metroidvania is genuinely gorgeous, and the grotesque enemy designs kept me exploring way past my bedtime. Combat has a nice rhythm once you unlock a few abilities, though the early difficulty spike almost made me put it down.

Ellie B. ★★★★☆

The side-scrolling combat feels tight and the boss fights actually make you learn their patterns instead of just mashing buttons. Only gripe is the map system, which got confusing in a couple of the later areas and had me backtracking more than I'd like.

Violet ★★★★☆

The gothic art style is beautifully grotesque on the Switch, and the side-scrolling combat feels tight once you get the hang of it. I just wish the map were a little clearer for all the backtracking.
